Terms and Conditions

1. Access to Venue
No responsibility will be accepted for restrictions relating to vehicle access to any location.

2. Bookings
All bookings are subject to our standard Terms & Conditions of Hire as laid out within this document.
After receiving a quotation from us, should you wish to proceed to booking – just advise us. We will then forward a booking form for you to check/complete and return to us together with a £75 non-refundable deposit, per vehicle, to secure the date, vehicle(s) and driver(s).
We will issue you with a receipt for payment and written confirmation of your booking. Bookings are not confirmed until we have received the deposit payment and completed/signed booking form from you.

3. Booking Dates
Booking dates are non-transferable. Should you have to change your date your booking deposit will be forfeited as we have ‘blocked’ the previously held date, vehicle and driver for you in good faith from other potential clients. All efforts will be made to secure the vehicle for your new dates, wherever possible. We therefore recommend you take independent Wedding Insurance to cover you against such eventualities.

4.Cancellations
In the unfortunate event of you having to cancel the booking at any time, the booking deposit shall be forfeited. If a cancellation is received less than 4 weeks prior to the event the full outstanding balance will become payable. We therefore recommend you take independent Wedding Insurance to cover you against such eventualities. All cancellations must be received by us in writing.

 

5.Car Capacity 
The maximum passengers we can carry at one given time is 3 persons plus driver. 

 

6.Children travelling with you
We regret that children under the age of 7 years are ONLY able to travel in our vehicle fitted with seat belts due to government safety regulations regarding child restraints. All child passenger ages must be confirmed on the booking form. Where child/booster seats are required by law you must supply and be responsible for the fitting of them.

 

7. Seat Belt requirements

All passengers are required to wear seat belts at all times while the car is moving. 

8.Client Conduct
The client is responsible for the conduct of their passengers. We reserve the right to refuse carriage to anyone we feel is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs and may cause danger to our driver and other passengers. And therefore refusal of carriage will be carried out with no financial repercussions to CaptiV8 Cars. We also reserve the right to invoice for the cost of any repairs, replacements or valeting arising from damage to the vehicle or its fixtures caused by the client or their passengers. 

 

9.Client Possessions 

All Clients are responsible for their own belongings. 


10. Bows and Ribbons 
Our vehicle is dressed with a traditional white or ivory 'V' ribbon across the bonnet to the front grille. We are able to provide coloured bows and Ribbon for £5 and will try our best to match any colour theme you may have running, particularly with Bridesmaids dresses and flowers. 


 

11. Vehicle Availability 
We only conduct one wedding per day with our vehicles so you will not be rushed in order for us to get to another service or delayed due to a hold up on a prior ceremony. We do this by blocking off your vehicle/date in our diary at the time of confirmation (secured by a non-refundable booking deposit) so that it is not available to other couples.

12. Payment terms
A non-refundable deposit of £75 is payable at the time of booking to secure your date, vehicle and driver. The outstanding balance becomes due 6 weeks prior to the wedding day.

 

 

13. Payment Methods
For your convenience we can accept several forms of payment:
a) Cheques – drawn on a UK bank and made payable to Mark Futter
b)BACS - online payment directly to our bank account. 

(Please ensure you quote the invoice number when making a direct payment to ensure it is attributed to you).

14. Our Services
Our prices include the journey from the collection address to the ceremony and from the ceremony to the reception or such other arrangements that have been agreed in writing at the time of confirmation of booking. No additional journeys will be undertaken on the day unless agreed in writing prior to the event.

15. Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles at any time. 

 

16. Food & Drink

No food will be allowed to be consumed while in the vehicle. Only water provided by CaptiV8 Cars will be allowed to be consumed while in the vehicle. 

17.Timings 
Adequate time will be allowed for the journey(s) specified on the booking form. We will not be held responsible for late clients or passengers or for any delays beyond our control.

18. Unforeseen Circumstances
Our vehicle is maintained to a high standard but in the unlikely event of a mechanical failure or unforeseen breakdown we recommend that you provide a back up car that will be available to you on your wedding day. In this circustance we will issue you with a full refund.  

19.Viewings of our car 
You are most welcome to view our vehicle either prior to your booking decision or at any time thereafter. Please kindly call at least 48 hours ahead to confirm that the vehicle is available for viewing and not out with another Bride or being Maintained. 

 

 

20. Privacy Notice
The privacy and security of your personal information is extremely important to us and we want to assure you that this will be properly managed and protected by us at all times.

 


21. Weather 
We, CaptiV8 Cars, will not be held responsible for adverse weather that may prevent the completion of the hire. Adverse weather i.e. heavy persistant rain, snow, ice, flood or salted roads-all of which will result in damage to the car and thereby will be unsafe for the car to travel, can result in the hire being cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel the booking/hire and a full refund will be issued in this case.
